About a 3-4 minute walk from the terminal building, boots are strongly recommended for winter time. For Ease of travel walk the road that goes in the general direction from rental car parking.
This rustic 4 star hotel is situated to the west of the terminal. Almost straight out the arrivals door (oops perhaps that should have been a hint) ? and up the raise. The cache site is not in the direct view of muggles but your approach is! Try not to have the security guard wondering why people are pointing out the non-view side of the building. (Actually the Airport Administration is aware of the cache)
The site is intended to be a Travel Bug Trading Spot so please make use of the site. We would ask that you log the Travel Bug both on the computer and in the logbook at the site.
Features of this hotel include the following
Front Desk –Please be sure to register in (pencil sharpener and logbook included) There is also a supply of “sleeping bags” (aka - plastic baggies) for travel bug's that may need them, at the front desk.
Gift Shop - For swag traders please feel free to trade “souvenirs”. As this is a fine establishment, equal trade or better is always appreciated.
Arrivals Lounge - for Travel Bugs new to the area and visiting the Kootenay region.
Departure Lounge - for Travel Bugs who have enjoyed the region’s hospitality and want to go further afar.
There is a theme related FIRST TO LEAVE a travel bug prize. First to Find just gets to brag.
