Irgendwo im Bremer Hafengebiet steht dieser graue Turm mit Erker, zwei Galerien und einem Kupferdach. Er wurde im Jahre 1906 aus Granitquadern errichtet und war bis in die 60er Jahre ständig besetzt. Heute wird das Feuer fernüberwacht – daher ist kein Vor-Ort-Personal mehr nötig (es ist aber dennoch mit Muggel-Aufkommen zu rechnen). Neben dem Turm ist eine so genannte Pegeluhr zu sehen, die inzwischen aber abgedeckt ist

It was erected in 1906 with square granite blocks and was filled 24/7 until the 60ies. Today the fire is remote monitored and therefor no more staff is needed at this place. Nevertheless there will be muggels ;-). Next to the tower there is a so called "Pegeluhr" which shows the water level, but is covered right now.
