Geocache Description:

The Bedlam Cube series will be archived 4th of August 2016!

The Bedlam Cube

The Bedlam cube is a solid dissection puzzle invented by Bruce Bedlam. The puzzle consists of thirteen polycubic pieces: twelve pentacubes and one tetracube. The objective is to assemble these pieces into a 4 x 4 x 4 cube. Although this puzzle has an enormous number of solutions, it's a hell of a job to find one!! For more info about this cubic puzzle visit: Official bedlam puzzle site

After finding my first solution (See: The Bedlam Cube 2: Basic), I got addicted to this puzzle and discovered many other solutions. Below you see again 4 sides of a solution, but now in random order and position.

Steps to find the cords of this cache:
  • Reconstruct the solution completely.
  • Download the solver. This solver computes all solutions within approximately 10 minutes.
  • Determine, according to the solver, the number of the solution.
  • Compute the squared value of this number and add 200485.
  • Last six digits = ABCDEF
