This is the final of the first mysterycache at Elba and it belongs to the complete serie of 4 geocaches which shows you the life of Napoleon on Elba and allows you to discover his secrets.
To solve this geocache “ Napoleon’s secrets #4: il finàle ”, you’ll have to find the codes in
“ Napoleon’s secrets #1: Invèrno ” ,
“ Napoleon’s secrets #2: Estàte ” and
“ Napoleon’s secrets #3: Aqua di vita " at first
It’s possible to find and log nr. 1, 2 and 3 separately.
INTRODUCTION:
Elba and Napoleon: two names who are connected to each other forever.
A special part of Napoleon’s life was his exile to Elba, which lasted about 300 days, from 3rd May 1814 until 26th February 1815.
He exiled voluntarily, because his army suffered many losses in the battles in Russia and at Leipzig. During his stay he realized a immense grow of the prosperity for the citizens of Elba: he took care for a better roadsystem, built a strong harbour-defense of Porto Azurro and developed the wine trade and mining-industry very firmly.
The little man with the large deeds will always be remembered and deserves his own geocache!
Now it’s time to find the big secrets of the little Napoleon!

Missions:
• Collect the coordinate-codes at the geocaches “Napoleon’s secret, part 1-3”
• Park your car at N42 4N.APO E010 1L.EON
• Find the code B by counting the "spikes" on the castletower at “ I ” on coordinates N42 4N.(P-E)(A-O)(A+L) E010 0(N+O).(A+P)(N+O)(A*O). Extra hint: Inside the chapel
• Code R = amount of letters of third word at textplate under drawing at “ IV ”, N42 4N.(O*O)(A+P)(A*O) E010 0(N+O).7(N-A)(A*O)
• Code T = 3rd number of the year, engraved high in wall at 42.4N.B P (A+R) E010 0(R*R) (B-R)(N-R) R. At this location Napoleon had another secret: this was his lover's nest for many romantic stays with his maitresse!
• Now you've found all the necessary code letters on your way to IL FINÀLE!
• Check this: The total amount of the codes N+A+P+O+L+E+O+N+B+O+N+A+P+A+R+T+E = 62
• Now it's time for your FINALE. It's just a 300 mtrs. away. Go to N42 47. (A+R)(B-R)N E010 09 (L+E) T (T-R).
