The cache is situated near Honing lock on the old North Walsham Dilham Canal.
The cache is a 35mm film container with small logbook and pencil.
This is a really nice little spot just off the weavers way footpath,a small wooden footbridge crosses over the lock and you can continue down the side of the river/canal through a small wood and then into the open water meadows which are well worth an explore(although this can be difficult after lots of rain).
The 'canal'(river Ant) was opened in 1826 and the last Wherry travelled down it in 1934.If you walk down along the side of the lock wall you can see the remnants of the lock gates under the water.
