At the top of Loerkop near Greyton. Provides a stunning view of Greyton and also a view across the Overberg to the ocean on a clear day. Round trip takes about 1 hour.
Park in the old quarry at S34 04.503 E019 36.955. Take the left fork immediately after passing through the gate. Follow the path to the top of the hill.
The cache site has a view of Greyton and the entire Riviersonderend mountain range.
After finding the cache the more superstitious might like to walk a little further and place a rock on the cairn at the highest point. Then take in the view to the south from which, on a clear day, it is said one can see the Indian Ocean. Return either by retracing your steps or completing the round trip by continuing along the path. (You could do "Greyton Koppie Cache" on your way back to the car.)
