"One Red Paperclip" is the great story of how Kyle MacDonald
progressively swapped a red paperclip on his desk for a series of
increasingly valuable items - and eventually ended up with a house!
It's a demonstration of how something really small can, with the
help of the internet, turn into a worldwide phenomenon. I really
enjoyed the book, and thought a themed cache based on it would be a
lot of fun. :) Let's see what we can end up with in the cache,
starting with just a red paperclip like Kyle did.
If you're the first to find:
You'll find a copy of the “One Red Paperclip” book as a FTF
prize. Attached to the corner is the red paperclip! Please take
these and replace them with any single item more valuable than a
red paperclip. When you log the cache, please state what you
removed, and what you left in place.
For subsequent finders:
Please remove the item in the cache and replace it with a single
more valuable item. When you log your find, please state what you
removed, and what you left in its place.
Please limit the contents to A SINGLE ITEM more valuable than
the item you find, and don't fill the cache with common or garden
swag. Please state in your log what you take and what you leave -
any logs not conforming to this will be deleted!
However, it's a big tub so do feel free to add travel bugs. But
please don't log this cache unless you swap the main item.
