Geocache Description:

The Hill Golf Course is the home to the PE Golf Club . It is a 6121 metre course, with magnificent fairways and bent grass greens. The course was officially opened by Mayor J.C. Kemsley, on November 10, 1902.
The two “signature” holes have distinctive water features – the 8th has water on the right of the fairway and green, whilst the 17th has water in front and to the right of the green.
The fairways are lined with trees and shrubs, including palm and wild strelitzias. There is an abundance of birdlife, especially at the two waters.

The golf course is leased to the PE Golf Club under a 99-year agreement and is zoned as private open space. There are numerous entrances to the golf course and some pedestrian thoroughfares. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL OF AIRBORNE GOLF BALLS. As per warning signs, the grounds are used at your own risk. There are no planned events on Mondays.

The cache was placed for the PE Crazy Cachers event held on 9 August 2008. Container is 0.8 L lock & lock.

Take a break from the hectic city life, on the bench next to the cache, and enjoy the tranquillity.

The most discrete , and coincidently closest, entrance to the course is in Heythrop Drive in Mill Park at S33° 57.699 E025°35.061
