Geocache Description:

This cache, part of the South Cerney Series, is alongside the Thames and Severn Canal. It was originally placed to coincide with my Cerney Wick 2008 Event. If you haven't done my South Cerney Secrete cache (GC1CAAA), that would be a good cache to kick this series off, so suggested parking is in the High Street. Taking in the Secrete cache and further caches in this series could allow you to take a circular walk of around 3.5 miles, however be warned, the return stretch along Wildmoorway Lane is quite often flooded (apparently even in 'summer' months, so if you intend doing the circuit, it may be advisable to wear wellies. Alternatively, the South Cerney caches can all be accessed via public footpaths from Cerney Wick. Please refer to OS maps if you wish to do this. Remember this cache is alongside a canal, so please take care with young children and pets.

*** Please ensure you have a pen or pencil with you. It may not be possible to rely upon the pencil in the cache or it may have been removed by other cachers. ***
