UTNG's first cache hide using the ammo can rockhoundbmw won at WWFMIII Coronado. Hid by rockhoundbmw, irish10, Tiek00n, fastlane1601, and berto1286.
Please pay attention to the additional waypoints to find the trail since it is not obvious where it starts from Via Rancho Parkway. Take the well-defined (but unsigned) trail just over half a mile until you are due west of the cache. Toward the beginning, you will cross a seasonal creek twice- the first time over a wooden bridge and the second time by stepping over it. Toward the end, the trail is on the ridge of the hill. The cache is located east of the trail on the property of some members of the UTNG Gang, who gave permission for the hide. Some minor bushwacking is required, but it is not too bad since the slightly steep hillside is not overgrown. The area looks like it has mostly recovered from the 2007 fires. It is a scenic hike that passes through many micro-ecosystems. I recommend wearing closed toe shoes and bringing some water. Please do not actually swing from the tire. The tree limbs will not support your weight. Congrats to John&Jess for being FTF!
