Geocache Description:

A nice easy cache and dash by Ballyholme Yacht Club's Dinghy Park in Bangor.

Ballyholme Yacht Club is one of the most active sailing clubs in Northern Ireland - many of BYC's sailors have represented Ireland and/or the UK in International competition. This year, 2008, one of our members, Stephen Milne, will represent Ireland in the Star Boat class at the Olympics in Beijing. Several other BYC members are former Olympians or Olympic triallists.

If you call here on a Tuesday evening in summer or on a Sunday afternoon in Summer or Winter spend a while watching the Club racing. Keep an eye out for the small yotter/cacher in 168832 - say hello - his boat space is quite near.

This is a nice easy cache - you do not have to enter Club property and the cache is wheelchair accessable. Just take care to replace the cache exactly where it was and, of course, avoid the muggles. The cache is a 35mm film case and only has room for the log and a small pencil. Magnets are involved.
