Stanwick Lakes is a former gravel quarry that has been transformed into a country park. The paths around the lakes are ideally suited for bikes and buggies. It is a very popular place for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and families. This means that steath must be employed when attempting this cache. SOME POINTS TO NOTE. 1) The car park closes at 5pm between October and March and 9pm between April and September. Access on foot can be gained 24 hours a day. 2) There is a parking charge which is payable upon leaving. 3) Please make sure that the bird hide at GZ is empty before you begin your search so as not to disturb anyone using it.
