Geocache Description:

I usually put extra effort into my hides but I went off the deep end.
I placed this on my birthday so I went for more of a memorable one.

You DO NOT need to exceed the terrain rating for this cache.
You do not have to climb or hang off anything (unless you want to.)
Follow the directions included in any cache hunt for best results.

This location once hosted "Pathway To Nowhere" by Ickster,
that is before it tragically washed away during a flood in 2007.
This one should survive a flood of near biblical proportions here!

You can park off the north side of Sooke Road next to the "Fisher Trail".
This leads you right to the cache. It's less than 200m so take your time.

Enjoy the view overlooking a large pond from the walking pier.
During high water the terrain rating to get there might increase, a lot.
Once you zero out you are looking for a well concealed 2.5"x4"x7" L&L.
I stocked it initially with various goodies and cool MD signature swag.
Please keep the item quality decent, don't leave stuff you know is junk.

Once you discover the cache, take a moment to note exactly how it's hidden.
I took measures to fool-proof it so it can only be rehidden the correct way.
Muggles shouldn't be a real problem here but always keep your eyes peeled.
Those with longer arms or a nimble youngster with them may find this easier.

Enjoy the hunt!
