Geocache Description:

The listed coordinates are not the cache location. The cache is nearby in Rock Creek Park. The listed coordinates are a nice place to park your car.

The coordinates for the cache read like this: N39°AB.CDE W077°FG.HIJ

Each letter represents a digit in the street address of a business along Randolph Road. (The business may have a Parklawn Drive address.) All of the businesses are located between the railroad tracks and the Baptist church.

Each letter has a crossword puzzle-type clue to the business' name, plus the digit in its street address which matches the letter. Some of the answers don't match the spelling of the business' name, but sound the same.

A= Beantown bodega (4th digit)
B= Beowulf actress Alison's (3rd digit)
C= Microphone and stars (1st digit)
D= Second person schlep (2nd digit)
E= Racer Danica talks with her hands (3rd digit)
F= Secure path (3rd digit)
G= NCO's rank insignia (1st digit)
H= British tube (4th digit)
I= Winning rolls in craps (4th digit)
J= Packages and more (3rd digit)

Once you have the coordinates for the cache, head east down Randolph Road and turn left at Hunters Lane. Go to the end of Hunters Lane and you will be at the entrance to the park. Expect some bush-whacking.

The cache is a medium-sized tupperware container with a blue lid. The FTF prize is $10 and an unopened Sarah Brightman CD.
