There are 2 car parks in the area both free. one to the N.E. of the mountain, shorter walk, harder uphill walk. (Breakwater Country park (take this road.jpg)) one to the S.W. (South stack)longer easer walk, Good walking boots/shoes are recommended, Dogs love the area,no restrictions, Minimum age for kids about 7-8.
About an Hour to cache & back from carparks, and about 2 miles in total.
The cache is a clear plastic sandwich box, (thanks to Tripitika) Usual toys, dog chew, ect, log book & sticker.
I have also left a Mapsource CD (4.06) containing maps for UK mg&rr, France, Austria, Benulux, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden/Denmark & Switzerland to make the cache a bit more interesting, as it's still a virgin after 3 months.....
The view from the top is quite spectacular, with Anglesey & Snowdonia to the east, The Irish sea to the west and possibly on a clear day Ireland, it can get quite windy, so be prepared, don't go up in a force 8 or 9 gale cause you will be blown away.
Last checked 28/01/02 still nice and dry.
