This is a very short, easy hike from an interesting piece of
history. It is very easy terrain, and the cache is hidden less than
100 feet from a well maintained trail. A parking area is avalible
at this location
This cache is located at one of only two covered bridges that
remain in the state. There are picnic tables nearby, so bring a
picnic, check out the bridge, and find a cache. It is a nice scenic
drive through the country to get here, too. The cache is in an
"unusual" container, recycled from one of our old caches. This
cache would be a good sidetrip from the North Carolina Zoo in
Asheboro or from the local potteries around Seagrove, NC. Enjoy
this piece of history!
