Usually when geocaching, you get to see new and interesting places you probably would not have seen otherwise, and that is one of the great things about this hobby. But what if you are short of time when visiting a new town, and want to see the main tourist attractions and do some geocaching as well?
In Stockholm the On The Tourist Trail (OTTT) – series of caches could be the answer. These seven caches (plus one bonus mystery) are all hidden next to main tourist attractions, all on the Top-ten list of most visited places in town. Most of the OTTT-caches are easy to find and quick to log.
The caches are: OTTT #1 – City Hall, OTTT #2 – Changing of the Guard, OTTT #3 – Sightseeing, OTTT #4 – Museum of Modern Art, OTTT #5 – Vasa, OTTT #6 – Skansen, OTTT #7 – Fjällgatan and the bonus mysteryOTTT #8 – Bulls Eye.

Changing of the Guard
The changing of the guard at the Royal Palace takes place at the outer courtyard each day, during the summer months, at 12.15 (13.15 on Sundays). During the winter season a smaller cermony is held at the courtyard every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. From the cache the shortest way to the outer courtyard is to walk across the street and then take the stairs (for the moment renovation work going on and the stairs are sealed of - follow Västerlånggatan, and at the first intersection, walk to the left).
