This cache has had several lives!
Life Cycle #1: The rodeo grounds were open to explore and this cache was hidden within the grounds.
Life Cycle #2: Included in the Very First Helena Geo Tour (May 2014-May 2016)!
Life Cycle #3 (current) A quick little hide. Nothing special about the cache itself, the intent was to bring people to where the East Helena Rodeo is held every July.
ORIGINAL CACHE DESCRIPTION:
A mini-decon canister hidden at the East Helena Rodeo grounds. Should be an easy find, except for the second week of July.
**UPDATE 3/21/2011**
After a finder posted he had to go beyond a No Trespassing sign, I ran out to take a look. There upon the newly placed gate IS a No Trespassing sign... so I moved the cache to the outside of the gated area. No need to enter the Rodeo Grounds property.
We now return to the regularly scheduled program.....
Every year in the middle of July, the sleepy town of East Helena comes alive with the much anticipated East Helena Rodeo. There are parades down Main Street, street dances into the wee hours of the morning, and of course, all the rodeo events. Barrel Racing! Bull Riding! Roping! Clowns! It's a fun, hometown gathering of friends and family.
In July, If you aren't careful, you may be right in the middle of the fun while trying to find this cache!
