See the Sea! Traditional Geocache
BLAA: Finally we have gone to "Plan C" ... we have placed a new cache very close to here, so watch for its publication! It is far enough away and placed quite differently that it is appropriate to give it a new number. Thanks again to RoadKill for watching over this cache!

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This spot provides another great view of nature and the sea...
while you are here you should check out some of the nearby caches
along this park.
No room for trades or a pen
– so please bring your own pen.
No stickers please … you’ll have to
write small. Please return cache EXACTLY where you found
it.
Please do not disturb any
vegetation - the cache is not "in" anything
green.
Muggle activity can be very high at times, particularly
just before sunset and on the weekends - please use extreme
stealth!
What a view ... this is certainly a scenic spot to think about our
natural resources and for those who have championed our
environment. Rachel Carson, marine biologist and author, is often
credited with advancing global environmentalism. Her book,
Silent Spring, helped inspire the creation of the
Environmental Protection Agency. Carson was posthumously awarded
the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Update November 2009: The cache has been saved many times by a
thoughtful local cacher - thanks RoadKill! We moved it a bit to try
to keep it secure.
Update March 2010
- The cache continues to have problems staying put
... so it is now in a similar location, but there is no camo - as
always it is out of sight! Please be careful in retrieving and
replacing it so that you do not drop it. Please report any issues.
The plan is to restore the camo soon. In the meantime we hope you
enjoy the view of the beach.
//// Congratulations to Dooley2001 for FTF
