Geocache Description:


We’re inviting you on a sort trip with our first cache. The base is the main square of the town. You can wander through nice streets as long as you arrive in a peaceful garden. Approach: If you arrive with a car, you can park in the car-park near the “Szentháromság”-square. From here you can go on foot. Here you can view the Roman Papistic Church that is a baroque church and it was built in the 18th century. Curiosity of the church, is that the ball under the cross is the replica of the Hungarian Crown. The first point: The first virtual point isn’t too far from here. That is a rider statue. It was stood in 1926, on the remember of “Jászkun” cavalryman, who died in the 1st World War (created by Vass Viktor and Pongrácz Szigfrid). The first part of the password is the first two character of the second word of the caption at the back of the statue. The second point: After one or two minutes walk, you can find the second point. That is a half-length portrait (bust of Déryné Széppataki Róza. She was born in 1793 in Jászberény. She is a prominent commanding figure of the classical Hungarian dramatics acting). The bust is located by the main entrance of the Margit-island in Jászberény. The second part of the password is the third character of the caption on the statue. If the weather is good, you can bath on the pleasure resort in front of the island. The third point: Go away, so you can get to the cache, that is near the “Kapitány kert”. Only virtual cache. The micro cache is missing.
