The cache will be archived and physically removed from the library collection by Monday August 29. The current library building closes permanently at 5PM August 31. The new location at 20105 East Mainstreet, just north of Parker Town Hall and the PACE Center will open at 11AM on Saturday, September 24. DO NOT LOOK FOR THE CACHE IN THE NEW LOCATION. If I place a cache there it will likely be a different puzzle/location/container.
The Butterfield Overland Despatch was a mail and freight service operating across the Great Plains in the 1860s. The plaque at the cache coordinates has some interesting information which you will need to solve the puzzle.
At the initial coordinates, make the following substitutions:
! = First letter of 9th word in 10th line
@ = Third letter of the first trail mentioned in line #2
# = First letter of the 5th word in 10th line
A = last number of the year at the bottom of the plaque
B = subtract the first number of the first year in line one from the second number of the same year
C = second number of the second year in line 1
D = third number of the year in line 6
E = second number of the year in line 6
F = third number of the first year in line one

After you have made your substitutions, proceed to WP #2 N 39 31.176 W 104 46.015 and enter the portal for your search. Portal hours are Monday - Thursday 9AM - 9PM, Friday and Saturday 9AM – 5PM, Sunday Noon – 5PM. Closed holidays.
At this location you will find a container holding the logbook and trade items. Happy searching!
The current library building close Wednesday, August 31, at 5 p.m. and the collection will be moved to the new location for Grand Opening Day, Saturday, September 24. I will disable the cache and remove the container closer to the closing date. I will reevaluate the cache puzzle and placement at that time.
