Geocache Description:

Huntington Harbor area. This cache can be done from a boat but a boat is not required. Pictures of each location will be provided except for the last "treasure" location. If you don't want to know..... don't look!

The voyage:

Set a course to "THE BOX" N33 43.541 W118 04.660 A green box, approximately 3'x3'x3'. On the front, top left of the green box is a seven digit number. The 2" digits are gold on a black field. Write the number down. The first digit on the left is digit one, the next is digit two, the next is digit three and so on.

Your next waypoint is determined by replacing the letters (ABC DEF) in the waypoint:

N33 43. ABC / W118 04. DEF

with digits from the green box
using the formula:
digit 1 + digit 2 = A & D
digit 1 + digit 5 = B & F
digit 5 = C
digit 3 = E

Distance to the next waypoint = 813 feet. Hoisting up the anchor and navigating to this waypoint will bring you your 2nd stop, "THE POINT". Here you will find a drinking fountain. What you seek is close by for your next set of waypoints.

Distance to the next waypoint = 0.5 miles.
Setting sail, you navigate to your 3rd stop.
"THE CASTLE".

Arriving at the castle you will find a number of trees growing out of the cement surrounded by metal rings.

Your next waypoint is determined by replacing the letters (ABC) in the waypoint:

N33 43. A68 / W118 04. B1C

using the number of trees in the formula:

The number of trees + 2 = A
The number of trees = B
The number of trees - 2 = C

Disembarking on the last leg of your journey, navigate to your next waypoint, "THE TREASURE".

The cache is a camouflaged decon container. It is located at an obtuse corner.
