Geocache Description:

The cache has been moved and coordinates updated. Read 8/12/08 owner note for hint. This is in a turnout with a wonderful view along the Hope Road. Drive about a mile farther towards Hope and you'll see the unofficial camping area to your right. It's best to enjoy the rocks and mudflats wisely and use an RV for camping to keep out of the hygiene issues cachers found with the first hiding spot.

I was camping at Ressurection trailhead and allergies woke me early. What to do on at 4AM? Watch the sunrise! I drove to GZ and found the 3 or 4 camping spots already occupied (surprise, surprise on a Memorial Day weekend).

So I drove another .1 mile from GZ and saw all these white dots on the incoming tide. My heart leaped as I thought I might be seeing belugas, alas not this time. Just beautiful wind-whipped white caps and the sunrise.

I thought of dropping the bison where I'd watched the view, but a bison on a guardrail didn't seem to do the view justice and parking was limited to one compact car. Later in the day, as campers left, I was able to go out on the point to GZ and take in the sights. There is a little bit of rocky beach and a way down to the mudflats in some of the campsites. For the cache, stay up top. No need to boulder hop or go over the edge. Enjoy!

CONGRATULATIONS Cliff Hanger & Christmas Carol on the FTF!
