I first noted this location on a dismal early spring day. Tired patches of snow lay about under a sullen sky, and a strong wind from the north wailed as it set the branches thrashing. No sign of life anywhere about; just the stones standing quietly amid the brown fields, brown trees, and wet, muddy brown roads. The only movement is the slashing, mindless spin of the turbine blades all around. Hence the name.
