This is the well-known "Impala Stampede" sculpture that used to reside in the Oppenheimer park.
The Sculpture was vandalised in the late 1990's but the Oppenheimer family commissioned it to be restored.
It appears that the statue was dismantled and broken up in order to use the parts for building material. Fortunately, this has now been reconstructed and is available for viewing in a secure and well maintained part of town.
There is a leopard nearby that is also an attractive statue (eagerly looking at the impala) and there are a few other items of art in the immediate area.

You're looking for a film canister and there is a pencil inside. There is also (initially, anyway) a trade item inside. Note that the buildings make it difficult to get the exact coordinates. The published coordinates are an average of a number of readings.
Please be careful not to drop the container as it may be difficult to retrieve. Stealth is required - this is probably easier to do in a group.
