And now, a little information on St Margarets Church,
Underriver.
The Church building is in the middle of the village, almost next
door to the pub. It was built in 1865 by John Davison, the Judge
Advocate General, who lived in Underriver House. The Church is not
old, but people usually become very fond of it. It is constructed
in a simple Gothic style and it is now a listed building. The
Church has a particularly fine organ. Outside, the church is
distinguished by an excellent lychgate and a pretty west gable
under which is a large clock face.
If any body would
like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you
could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the
Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
