Geocache Description:

This cache is a small tobacco container located near the small but beautiful Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum Falls on Brandy Brook about 150 meters upstream from the Fundy Footpath.

The Fundy Footpath stretches from Goose River at the edge of Fundy National Park all the way to Big Salmon River at the end of the Fundy Parkway (East of Saint Martins). The footpath hugs the cliffs of the Bay of Fundy, dropping a dozen times into ravines up to 300 metres deep. The path winds through lush boreal forests, crosses rushing creeks and waterfalls, pebbled beaches, sheltered grottos and caves.

The entire length of the footpath is blazed Appalachian Trail style with white blazes painted on trees and rocks. Side trails are blazed in yellow or blue.

You can get this cache while doing a multi day backpacking trip to the Fundy Footpath but you can also do this cache as a day hike

The following are the instructions for getting to Goose Creek.
Take the Shepody Road off highway 114, just a little west of the West Exit from Fundy National Park (45 39.811 065 09.121)
Then at 45 36.289 065 15.153, take the Goose Creek road heading south .
Proceed until 45 31.696 065 10.855 and take the road going east.
Park at 45 31.390 065 10.544.

About 50 meters past the parking spot you will notice yellow marked trees. This is the start of an ATV trail that leads you 3.2 kms down to Goose Creek on the Fundy Coast. Once at the coast you are on the Fundy Footpath. There is a wilderness campsite at this spot. From here you can follow the white blazes on the trees for about 1.5 kms to the cache. When you arrive at Brandy brook, follow the blue blazes upstream for 150 meters to the cache.

Once you find the cache you can go back or you can continue on from there for another 3 kms to the Goose Creek Road near Martin head and follow that road and your GPS, making a total hiking loop of 12 kms for the day. Be warned that this would be a very strenuous 12 kms.
