Geocache Description:

Located off an established trail. Some up and down. A couple of sandy areas. Shortest route might not be the easiest. Should be winter friendly (will see).

A well concealed, but not buried, 30 cal ammo box. Cache contains an assortment of goodies. You will be visible from the trail when at the cache, so please be discrete.

Be sure to check out the view from the Blockhouse. A luge run is located just north (N43°15.591' W086°21.122') in the Muskegon Winter Sports Complex. It is one of three in the country. Muskegons own luger, Mark Grimmette, won Olympic Bronze in Nagano and Olympic Silver in Salt Lake City. The park contains 12 miles of marked hiking trails, with 5 miles lighted for cross country skiing. The trail to the cache is not lighted. There is ice skating in the winter.

If you drive through North Muskegon, watch your speed. It is about 7 miles at 30mph.
