Fish's Revenge...The Fortnight Holiday Cache Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Macho Homemaker: Looks like this one has run its course.

I checked on the hide today and...it was gone.
The parks people appear to have done some trail clearing and completely removed/moved the dead wood around the hiding place.

There is nowhere to put a cache of this size anymore and Fish moved out of the area so I'm archiving this one.

Geocache Description:

Due the the ALR rule change, a two-week holiday is no longer required...but it's still a good idea to take a break once in a while.

The coordinates above are not the actual location of the cache!

Please see below for the correct coordinates.

I take great enjoyment in difficult caches, either in regular difficulty or terrain.

Around here, there is a cache hider (who shall remain nameless...but a hint or two may be found on this page), who insists on putting out caches that test even my sanity.

This cache is primarily in his honor. It's not the revenge of...It's revenge to "Fish". I've been wondering about a way to "repay" him for all of his efforts.

That's a big problem! A far as I know, "Fish" has no sense of caution, shame, or dignity. There is no way I can come up with a traditional cache that will give him anything other than a feeling of accomplishment and enjoyment.

Really, it's like the age-old question: "What do you get for someone who has everything?".

In this case, it's "How do you make a cache that will give even 'Fish' pause?"

I think I've found it... (insert evil chuckle here)

Here's the deal.

1. You may log this cache at any time after 6/28/08 provided that there has been a period of at least a fortnight that you have not logged any caches.
2. This period must begin on or after 6/15/08 but does not need to immediately precede the day you log this cache.
3. You must include in your log the beginning date of your "holiday" from geocaching to get credit for the find.

That's it. Just go two weeks without caching, "Fish", and this one is yours...

Note: In response to a clarification request, Event Caches are exempt from the "holiday". By all means, go to events, and log your attendance. It will not count against you.

This cache is in a nearby park that currently has at least three other caches in it. Log 'em if you can find 'em

Since "Fish" has moved to the UP, the following is no longer valid.
The posted location of the cache is now a public spot nearby so you all don't bother the new owner.

The coordinates listed are not for the cache, but for another cache in "Fish's" front yard. Feel free to stop by and say "hi". The actual coordinates of the cache are below.

I did it this way so my cache will always show up as the closest to his home coordinates on his queries......taunting him every time he does a search......making sure he knows that there is ONE cache he CAN'T do yet...

FTF Prize is an item of > 0 value that I found on the ground while looking for a cache last summer.
