Muwhahahahahahaha!!! What can I say... I've been feeling a little evil lately. Well it used to be an evil hide until some jackass stole it. Now it's pretty easy.
Welcome to Port Republic WMA. It's accessed by making a right right off Sooys Landing Road onto a dirt road. The access road is not marked. If you come to Red Wing Lake Campground you have missed the road you need. The dirt road to the WMA is about a mile long and it's bordered by posted private property on the west side. Once you reach the WMA then you are out of the private property area and free to enjoy this peaceful area. It's hard to believe it's so close to the Parkway.
