Kožich
Vrch Kožich (584 m.n.m.) najdete asi 20km jižne od Plzne u obce Libákovice. Puvodne zde stávala drevená rozhledna z r.1920, která sloužila predevším zememericským úcelum. Tu nahradila pozdeji v r.1940 novejší (opet drevená) vež, ale ani ta nevydržela do dnešní doby. V roce 2007 zde byl postaven nový vysílac mobilního operátora, který je koncipován zároven jako rozhledna a za hezkého pocasí je zde krásný rozhled na celé jižní plzensko.
”Kozich” hill (alt. 584m, transl. “Fur Coat”) is located approx. 20km southwards from Pilsen close to Libakovice village. Wooden view-tower was built there in the past in 1920 and then new one in 1940 but neither of these two alived till today. New GSM transmitter tower was built in 2007 and this tower was designed together as view-tower. You can sight all the south Plzen area in the nice weather days.
Kovová vež je vysoká 35 metru a vyhlídková plošina, prístupná po tocitém schodišti, je ve výšce 24m. K rozhledne se dostanete z Libákovic po polní ceste kolem místního hrište. Vež je oplocená, ale (zatím) volne prístupná skrz neuzamcená vrátka. Bližší informace o režimu provozu rozhledny se mi zatím nepodarilo zjistit.
Metal tower is 35 metres height and sight floor level (accesible by the circle stairway) is in 24 metres height. You can reach the site by the fieldpath from Libakovice village around the local sport-ground. Tower is fenced but accesible through the opened door.
V sedmdesátých letech minulého století se na kopci usídlila armáda, vybudovala zde podzemní bunkry a údajne i nejaké odpalovací rampy. Na pozustatky techto objektu mužete narazit v lesíku západne od rozhledny. Budte ale opatrní, at nekam nespadnete. Keš je umístena na zcela opacné strane, východne od rozhledny, na bezpecném míste.
The army has occupied this hill in 70’s of last century and underground bunkers and fight pads were built there too. You can find the ruins of these object in the small forest westwards from view-tower but be carefully there to avoid the fall. Cache is hidden at the opposite side of tower eastward from tower at the safe location.
Libákovicemi prochází cyklotrasa c.2187 a také tudy vede cervená turistická znacka. Cache je ukryta v lese, kousek od cesty, asi 70 metru od rozhledny proto, abyste pri hledání meli klid, ukryti pred zvídavými pohledy ostatních mudlo-návštevníku a je to plastová krabice o objemu 4,5 litru. Souradnice rozhledny uvádíme navíc jako waypoint.
Marked cycle road No.2187 goes through Libakovice village as well as RED marked hiking trail. The cache is hidden in the forest nearby the path approx. 70 metres from view-tower. It will allow you to look for it so long time as you want not observed by other muggles-visitors of tower. The cache is plastic container 4,5 litres size. Coords of view-tower are listed as waypoint.
