This is one of a series of seven Church Micros in Lewes, leading to a Bonus. In order to complete the Bonus cache you will need to collect a clue at each of the locations. These are not in the cache itself but in the grounds of these fine places of worship.
Lewes Free Presbyterian Church (Jireh Chapel)
Jireh chapel was built by public subscription facilitate the preaching of Rev. Jenkin Jenkins. It is one of Lewes's few Grade One listed buildings. The timber built building is quite unique; its north facing wall has the largest expanse of mathematical tiles to be seen anywhere and the wooden interior gives the building a true non-conformist flavour. The famous evangelist and coal heaver, William Huntingdon S.S. (Sinner Saved) is buried in the yard.
The clue for this Church Micro is the date the Chapel was built - can be found on the plaque outside the Chapel. This will give you H.
The actual cache can be found a bit further away up Cuilfail.
If any body would like to expand to this series please do, we would just ask that you could let sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
Please bring your own writing implement !
