The coordinates are for the actual cache, but when you arrive at the cache site, first take a moment to enjoy the A & W Family.
Now, welcome to the Harry E. Wojahn Pickleball Court. This was dedicated to Harry for his many years of service to the Hillsboro Community, especially for his support and advocacy for the sports of tennis and pickleball.
Pickleball is described as a combination of ping-pong, tennis, and badminton. It started as a way to ease two families' summer boredom, but is now played in schools, parks and recreation centers, correctional facilities, camps, and retirement communities throughout North America. It was named after the family dog, Pickles, who used to run away with the ball during the initial versions of the game.
The United States of America Pickleball Association (USAPA) calls it the "fastest-growing sport in America," (although this claim is disputed by some).
The cache is disguised to blend in with its surroundings. There may be muggles around, but you don't need to worry about keeping your actions secret from them.
Many thanks to the Hillsboro Parks and Recreation Department, which approved the placement of this cache. You're welcome to stay and enjoy the Shute Park Aquatic and Recreation Center (SHARC) next door, or nearby Hillsboro Public Library and Shute Park, with a large kids' playground and nice strolling paths.
And, of course, you can also play pickleball.
