Geocache Description:

Pleasant walk along Brock Burn on good paths

Darnley Mill Park is a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation in the southwest of the City. Its mosaic of habitats supports a diverse range of animals and plants and provides an attractive area for walks - though some areas may be inaccessible to the public while work to stabilise old mine workings continues.

Easy walk, at the time of placing the cache one of the bridges is being rebuilt which may require a detour. There are several possible places to park - using the Ashoka car park is one obvious choice.

No need to get your feet wet !
