This cache is placed in memory of my Dad Ernest Thirtle,He often used to take me to North Sands as a child,very special memories.
This cache is an old ammo box, placed in the woods above North Sands. It contains log book and two pens, and many swapables inc motorola flip phone, monkeys fist, jewellery and several other items.
there are two parking locations, one at north sands car park next to beach which is pay and display and is at the following co-ords N50 13.829 W003 46.922.
Some free parking available at N50 13.795 W003 46.974
once parked head south up the road, to public foot path at N50 13.726 W003 46.914 follow the public footpath NW on 300 degrees, untill arriving at a gate on right hand side at co-ords N50 13.814 W003 47.192 press on through gate follow foot path to cache site.
Depending on time of year you will be treated to some very beautiful sites. I.E Blue bells, wild garlic.
