jmenoval Zadov. Jeho základy už pokryla hlína a
les a dnes už ani není poznat, kde presne
Koupil býka a krácel s
Celed i pán hruzou zcepeneli.
Býk rezníkovi i jeho psu rozpáral bricha a
EN: Listen to a real story which took place here nearly three
centuries ago.
Once upon a time about a half mile away there was a farm called
Zadov. Its ruins have been covered by soil and the forest hid it
from wanderer's eyes. Nobody can tell where it stood. At that farm
there lived a giant dreadful bull. Noone knew how to handle it, so
they agreed to sell it. Not much water flew in the stream, when a
butcher from Senftenberg (now Zamberk) came to Zadov. He bought the
bull and proudly lead his worthy purchase back home. What the
surprise, in a while the bull appeared back in its shed. Its head
was bloody and guts hung on its horns! The farmworkers were
terrified – the bull ripped out the butcher's belly and his
dog was slain too. What happened to the slaughtering bull is
unknown. But according to law the farm master had to carve and
erect a reconciliation cross for butcher's reminder. All characters
already died, but the cross stands on that place on. The dagger
carved on it is not a sign of a fight, it is just a butcher's
knife.
You can see the reconciliation cross from the path, about 50
meter away from the cache. Wish you a nice hunt.
