A great cache if you're after a scenic country drive. On the way there you may pass the Monkerai bridge is an Old Public Works Department (Old PWD) type timber truss road bridge, and is the second oldest timber truss road bridge in NSW. Built in 1882, currently it is closed. (from the bucketts way end)
The Chache is hidden in the Monkerai Nature reserve. This area a great place to go for a picnic, do some bush walking, and spot wildlife.
This cache Has been replaced and moved no more than a meter (coordinates still the same). It has been renamed to critter cache because it seemed better suited since there have been koalas, leaches and gimonsterous ants.
