Geocache Description:

This is a two part virtual cache. It involves a little bit of trivia and some music history. Very easy terrain and travel on highways.

This is a two part virtual cache. The two points are located about ten road miles (8.5 gps) apart. Both sites are tied together historically. The first site is a unique feature among other similar features. Clues to the second point are found around the first.

Visiting both points will reveal a little histroy; specificlly, country music and rock and roll. Your task is to complete the journey, collect the clues, and send us an email with the required information. We will return some additional information (trivia) about both sites.

The first waypoint:
Located at N32° 33.443' by W 093° 37.206'. When you arrive, note the words on the marker. Write this down. Now you need to walk around in the area and find the other clues. The other clues are within 40' of the first waypoint.

To get the second waypoint:
Find "Covington" and record the 1st four digit year for James E. and the first year for Anna.

Find " Carter" and record the 1st year for the doctor.

Find "Cloud" and record the 1st year for Alfred and the second year for Ida.

Now find "Box" and record the second year for Bill.

You now have enough information for this waypoint. Use this format to fill in the numbers.
Naa bb.ccc Wdd ee.fff

For Anna, use the last two digits - this is Naa. For James, use the last two digits - this is bb. For Alfred, subtract 1433, the result is ccc.

For Bill, subtract 1901, the result is Wdd. For the doctor, subtract 1888, the result is ee. For Ida, subtract 1792, the result is fff.

Now you can be on your way to the second site. Think Interstate. At the second site, write down the large inscription on the center of the structure. Send an email with this inscription and the words from the first site. If you get it correct, I will send the trivia info.

When you log your comments on the website, don't give away too much!

We hope you have fun and enjoy the history lesson. You're comments about this type of cache are appreciated.

Happy virtual hunt!!
