Cache is not at posted coordinates
The De Anza Expedition passed about a mile west of the posted coordinates. One food source they used was a few head of cattle. This was convenient as the cows could transport themselves. Of course, after walking hundreds of miles, those cows were pretty tough eating. At the posted coordinates, you will find a spot those cows would have found delightful. After resting and fatting up here, I'm sure they would have made much better eating. Alas, you won't find any cows here, or the cache. To find the cache, you will have to listen carefully for the sounds they make:
mooooooooooo
momo
mmomm
moooooooooooooooom
