Knocksink Wood Nature Reserve is near Enniskerry Village, on the banks of the Glencullen River. This stretch of river is particularly scenic, with torrents, small cascades and miniature gorges. Care is needed, especially with small children, as there are some steep drops.
These woods are rich in plant and animal life, and shelter diverse habitats within a relatively small area. Please note that this area is a Nature Reserve, so particular care should be taken to observe the principles of Leave No Trace, and to refrain from harming or disturbing the plants and animals.

Parking:
- Evenings and weekends - parking is available off the road at the main entrance gate
- Weekdays - you may drive in to the car park, keeping in mind that the gate will be locked at 5:30 pm
Public Transport: Bus number 44 will bring you from Dublin to Enniskerry. Ask the driver for Knocksink Woods, which is just before Enniskerry Village. Bus number 185 will bring you from Bray Dart Station to Enniskerry. It's half a kilometre from Enniskerry village to the main gate.
Safety note: when you approach the cache location along the path, you will not need to descend (towards the river) or ascend to reach the cache. With the river on your left, the cache is on the right (safe) side of the path. Please be aware of the steep drop.
Please replace the cache exactly where you found it, tucked away out of sight.
