Geocache Description:


There is lots of parking between Dead Woman’s Ditch and Crocombe Park Gate. We use a large stony area just before Crocombe Park Gate. In the summer there is often an ice cream van here. If you start your search here then head up hill, turn around and look at the field on the hill across the road, we saw 12 deer there. Carry on along the track and when you can see a field on you left above Crocombe Court Estate pause for a while, deer are often grazing here, we counted 30 when we went out to place the cache. Hope you enjoy the walk and the scenery. We did this walk with our three grandchildren ages 6, 8 and 10 they enjoyed the area and liked seeing the wildlife, the lambs and foals were a bonus. At the time of hiding we included- Log, pack of Christmas cards, flower seeds, and bubbles to blow! Please bring a writing tool.
