Genetika rozšírí tvuj obzor / Genetics can widen your horizon
(CZE) Na úvodních souradnicích je areál Opatství Staré Brno rádu svatého Augustina, kde žil a pracoval reholník a od roku 1867 opat Gregor Johann Mendel nazývaný dnes "otcem genetiky". 
Soucástí opatství je také Mendelovo muzeum (www.mendel-museum.org). Keš tam sice nenajdete ale mužete se tu seznámit s genetickými pokusy, které Mendela dovedly k formulování zákonitostí dedicnosti. Dobre vás to pripraví na rešení následující úlohy, nezbytné pro nalezení keše.
Jeden owner se rozhodl rozmnožit svoji perfektní a všemi vychvalovanou mysterku - hodne dobrou hádanku s velkou krabicí na spoustu travelbugu na finále. Do zacátku svého pestitelského úsilí mel k dispozici puvodní large-mysterku a jednu mikro-tradicionálku. Obe spolu zkrížil (neptejte se jak, ale byl fakt šikovnej) a cekal na potomstvo. Nevedel, že "mikro" je dominantním znakem pro velikost a "tradicionál" dominantním znakem pro typ keší. Proto byl trochu zklamaný, když mu v první generaci vyrostly samé mikro-tradicionálky. Neztrácel však nadeji, a jeho pestitelské úsilí bylo zanedlouho odmeneno prímo ucebnicovým výsledkem. Ve druhé generaci mu vyrostlo 16 keší všech ctyr kombinací puvodních vlastností.

(ENG) The initial coordinates are for the premises of Old Brno Abbey, belonging to the order of St. Augustine, where Gregor Johann Mendel lived and worked as a friar, and from 1867 as the Abbot of the community. He is nowadays known as the “Father of Genetics”. The Mendel Museum is a part of the Abbey (www.mendel-museum.org). You will not find the cache there, but you can learn about the experiments on genetics which lead Mendel to define the principles of genetics. This will perfectly prepare you to solve the following task, essential in finding the cache itself.
A cache-owner decided to multiply his perfect and much-acclaimed mystery cache, which was a good puzzle with a large box for a lot of travelbugs for the final. At the beginning of his breeding efforts he had the original large-mystery cache and a micro-traditional cache. He cross-bred the two caches (don’t ask me how he did it, all I know is that he was really clever :) and waited for the offspring. Well, he didn’t know that “micro” is the dominant trait for size and “traditional” is the dominant trait for the cache-type. Therefore he was a little disappointed when the first generation of caches consisted of nothing else but micro-traditionals. He didn’t give up though, and his efforts were soon rewarded by a real textbook result. In the second generation, he grew 16 caches of all four combinations of the original characteristics.
Mendel’s principles will help you to determine:
how many micro-traditional caches there were = A
how many large-traditional caches there were = B
how many micro-mystery caches there were = C
how many large-mystery caches there were = D
how many mystery caches there were together = E
how many more micro-traditional caches than mystery caches there were = F

30. 12. 2022 - Schránka obnovena v puvodní podobe. Uvnitr najdete jen logbook a pisátka. Nevkládejte žádné TB ani GC, hrozí ztráta. Pokud najdete skrýš prázdnou, založte náhradní logbook na jakémkoli papíre a napište o tom do logu. Chovejte se prosím pokud možno nenápadne. Lovu zdar!
