About Side Tracked
We have Motorway Mayhem. We have A-Road Anarchy, but what about public transport users? SideTracked Caches are intended to provide quick 'Cache-and-dashes' at Railway Stations.
You are looking for the ever reliable fake rock with log (please bring a pen/pencil) in my home town of Wigan on the WEST COAST MAIN LINE, this should be an easy find, the location was chosen as it has recently been tidied up and grassed from being grotty derelict litter strewn land, and of course because it overlooks both rail routes in Wigan, the Manchester – Southport/Kirkby line which goes through Wigan Wallgate and also the London Euston – Glasgow West Coast Main Line route which passes through Wigan North Western Railway station. I figured we don’t really need a cache for each station so I’ve planted this one and called it simply Sidetracked Wigan.
Parking is a bit tricky around here and believe me the traffic wardens are quicker than the trains that fly over the railway bridge! So I would advise to do this one on foot.
Please be stealthy when looking for this as curious muggles may well wonder what you are doing here...
PLEASE NOTE, there are no trackables in this cache, it it used by me as a virtual store to keep my inventory tidy.
