In der Nähe der vorgegebenen Koordinaten befindet sich einer von zwei Eingängen zur Freilichtbühne des Hamburger Stadtparks. Die Freilichtbühne ist ein bereits seit 1904 bestehender Veranstaltungsort für Musik und Kultur. Vor langer Zeit stand hier einmal eine riesige Ulme, unter deren Blätterdach die Veranstaltungen stattfanden. Seit dem Umbau von 1974 zu der heutigen Bühnenform haben unzählige Musikgrößen aller Stilrichtungen dort Ihre Auftritte gehabt.
Das Spektrum der Bookings reicht von Hamburger Lokalmatadoren wie Lotto King Karl, Stefan Gwildis und Fettes Brot über Norddeutsche Originale, wie Torfrock bis hin zu internationalen Stars à la Deep Purple, Joe Cocker, Santana oder Bob Dylan. Sie alle begeistern die Fans in der rund 4.000 Zuschauer fassenden Mini-Arena im Park, obwohl sie oft auch locker große Hallen füllen könnten.
Der Reiz des Open-Air Vergnügens scheint, trotz des zuweilen unkalkulierbaren Hamburger Wetters, ungebrochen. Und wer einmal keine Eintrittskarte mehr ergattern kann, der läßt sich auf den Wiesen entlang der im Jahre 2002 neu hergerichteten "Platanenallee" im Park mit Picknickkorb oder Grill nieder und hat so zumindest noch ein exzellentes Hörvergnügen.
Zum Cache:
Der Cache befindet sich ca. 150 Meter entfernt vom Eingang der Freilichtbühne auf der anderen Straßenseite. Der Cache ist jederzeit zugänglich. Im Cachebehälter befindet sich ein Logstreifen, aber kein Stift. Bitte bringt Euren eigenen Stift zum Loggen mit!

Near the given coordinates you'll find one of the two entrances to the famous open air theatre "Freilichtbühne Stadtpark" in the municipal park of Hamburg. Since 1904 the location is well known for presenting open air concerts to the audience. In former times there was an elm-tree and the concerts took place in the shadow of this tree. Since a redesign in 1974 many artists entered the stage.
In addition to local German stars, there were also great show acts like Deep Purple, Joe Cocker, Santana or Bob Dylan, who performed live in front of an audience of max. 4.000 spectators, although they could easily attract tenthousands of fans in big music halls instead.
Although the weather conditions in Hamburg are often not artist friendly, one can say, that the thrill of open air performances in this mini-arena is still alive. And if you are unlucky and could not buy a ticket, you can do as many other fans do and bring your picknick or barbecue with you, while sitting on the public lawn along the "Platanenallee" in the park within a hearing distance and having yourself an excellent "audio-event", instead of being in front of the stage.
The Cache:
The cache is about 150 meters away from the entrance of the open air theatre on the opposite side of the street. The cache is available at any time. The Micro-container contains a logstrip, but no pen. So please bring your own pen!
