Ahhh…tranquility. Peace. Quiet. Things we all need after a long
day playing with the other dogs. Putting up with the constant
yapping of those little dustmops just wears you out. Running those
big retrievers into the ground can only burn off so much of the
stress that results from worrying all day long about whether the
next meal is going to be Nutra or Purina, and whether the bed is
going to settle correctly after the ritual three-turn nesting. You
need a little place like this to come and relax. Listen to the
waters trickle over the rocks. You can almost imagine a little
picket fence here…you know, the three-rail whitewashed kind you
hear the country dogs talk about. With pretty little flowers
growing up around the bottom rail. And just beyond, a little field,
gently sloping down to the creek. Ahhhh….
Oh, yeah, the cache. There is a cache placed in a spot with that
kind of tranquility. You’ll find it in Steele Creek Park…but not at
the listed coordinates, cause that would put you in the middle of
the lake, which would not be a very tranquil place at all, unless
you are a carp or a catfish. No, this well-concealed little cache
can be found only after you solve the little puzzle below:
hfswuohetsntreoritoorwntreihoeeeneuxf*eegnv
For brevity, we left the “36” and “82” out of the encrypted
coordinates: little doxie paws get pretty tired typing all this
stuff. When you get it right, it will be obvious which is which.
Parking is available within a few hundred feet of the cache if you
drive inside the park (there’s a $1 admission fee), or about 0.2 mi
away if you find a spot outside. You now know everything you need
to know to find this cache, and then enjoy a nice time of
tranquility. Enjoy!
BTW – the usual add-ons apply. You know, BYOP, replace it as well
as you found it, be careful not to damage the cache, observe posted
hours, etc. Can be lots of muggles about at times.
