Geocache Description:

One of the tasks of the Apollo missions was to place mirrors on the moon! These mirrors reflect laser pulses back to Earth! From this, extremely accurate instruments are able to set world time, measure the rotation of the earth and movements of continental plates. The laser pulses are sent from the ‘Lunar Laser’ which was previously located here!

Your task is to find the mirrors! OK, maybe you can’t do that (that would be a 1000 star terrain cache – and you’d be on the wrong side of the GPS satellites!). So, instead, come and visit this site, and wonder what it would have been like in its heyday!
