Der "Vierhöfestein" unter der "Blutbuche" oder auch Königsbuche wurde kurz vor dem Jahre 1600 an oben genannten Koordinaten aufgestellt. Durch diesen Stein wird zum einen die Grenze zwischen den vier Höfen Alve (Bleialf), Auw, Gondenbrett und Sellerich und zum anderen zwischen den drei Bistümern Trier, Köln und Lüttich markiert.
