Viewpoint for the Ayit (Eagle) Water Fall in the Yehudia River in the Golan.
The outlook of the Ayit (Eagle) Waterfalls is just off of road 808 before Moshav Aniam. There is a large parking lot and it is only a few minutes walk to the look out.
Make sure continue on the loop path after the outlook for a view of another waterfall.
Also to go to the look out on the opposite side of the falls to see the hexagonal Basalt columns formed by the volcanic rock found in the Golan.
This was a really wonderful treat for us today – in the middle of March to find all the wild flowers in bloom. We had felt that we had missed Spring this year – yet here we found everything in bloom from a lovely small lupins (termosim) to cyclamens (rakefoet.)
We even saw a beautiful white Iris that was just beginning to bloom a bit further North at the Ha'mapalim Junction. (North straight across the junction along the dirt path – you will know it is in bloom if you see people taking photos there!)
You can also visit the artist village at Moshav Anaiam. Artists have built there homes and galleries there.
