NEW AND IMPROVED 9/15/06!!!
The original Bird Hills cache was located in an environmentally sensitive area and needed to be relocated. Also, critters had chewed a hole in the original container and it needed to be replaced. This cache is the result of efforts to refurbish and relocate the original Bird Hills Cache.
There are many entrances to Bird Hills park. The closest one to the first stage is located on Beechwood Drive...off of Sunset.
This is no longer a Sunday stroll. Although it is an easy hike on clear dirt trails you will cover about 1.5 miles of ground on your journey thru a beautifully wooded park on Ann Arbor's NW side (if you choose to do this cache alone). Stage one, two, and three are prescription bottles. Stage 1 is just off the trail and in a cool tree. And be sure to rehide it well so it doesn't get muggled. Stages 2 and 3 are located a little off the path, placed so you can look at the view of the Huron River. The final is a Gatorade bottle.
