Geocache Description:

Saturday May 3, 2008

A Memorial Picnic celebrating Ohio's very first GPS Stash!

Boston Run GC73

This historic first hide wasn't even called a Geocache!

They called them GPS Stashes in the year 2000!

Hidden October 1, 2000 (by beirne) inside the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, near the city of Peninsula. First found 26 days later and then archived on June 12, 2001.  It was removed by the NPS authorities and a “Do Not Stash” sign was left in it’s place.
